Starting at midnight on February 11th Pacific Standard Time, and lasting until 11:59pm on February 12th, don’t miss your chance to get in on the ground floor of the Willowbrook Saga… following two friends from the eighth grade through adulthood in a Washington State town through the good times and the bad.  Willowbrook is a town where a past of agriculture and pioneer medicine collide with a town moving forward in state of the art commerce and healthcare. With the changing times have come changing ideas that lay hidden in the dark for many years which two families will begin to bring to light. The first book in the saga, EVERYTHING CHANGES, is normally offered at 99 cents with free lending for Amazon Prime, but this weekend it will be free to everyone. The next book in the series, DOWN TO THE ROOTS, is scheduled for very late April or early May of 2012, and will follow the lead characters into the ninth grade and continuing struggles as they find out more about their families and their connections to the town.

These are characters that are near and dear to my heart and that I’ve wanted to write about for a long time, and decided that in today’s competitive traditional publishing world, the wait might be even longer as these type of books belong to a very competitive genre. So I’ve decided to start bringing them available to readers everywhere now, and am looking forward to the adventure. My goal – schedules in life permitting – is to release the first five volumes in 2012.

So welcome to Willowbrook, Washington… I hope you take advantage of this free weekend to grab the first volume now, and stay for the journey.
